Rules on board

In accordance with the Order of the Minister of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan   of April 30, 2015 No. 540 "On approval of the Rules for air carriage of passengers, baggage, cargo on air transport"

The airline terminates the contract of transportation unilaterally in cases

• Refusal of a passenger from pre-flight screening
• Being in a state of alcoholic, narcotic, substance abuse, which may pose a threat to the health of the passenger or the safety of persons and property on board the aircraft, as well as inconvenience to other passengers
• Creating situations that threaten the safety of the flight or life, health and personal dignity of other passengers, as well as air personnel - allowing any insult to them - verbal or physical
• Smoking in the no-smoking area
• Deliberate damage to airline property

Obligations of Passengers

• Fully comply with the requirements of the aircraft commander and other crew members, as well as follow the instructions on the information boards
• Place hand luggage and personal things in specially designated places
• Fasten the passenger seat belts at the request of the aircraft commander or when information signs are turned on that oblige to perform the specified actions
• Turn off or switch to an autonomous mode of operation (airplane mode) electronic devices at the request of crew members at any stage of the flight
• Keep discipline and order on board the aircraft throughout the flight

Passengers are prohibited

• Intervene in the actions of the crew, require them to change the plan and procedure for the flight or fail to comply with the instructions of air traffic services or air traffic control
• Create situations that threaten flight safety
• Threaten crew members and passengers
• Use emergency equipment without proper instructions from the crew
• Smoking on board the aircraft during the entire flight
• Consume alcoholic beverages, including those purchased from duty-free shops
• Use any electronic means on board the aircraft at all stages of flight, with the exception of stationary means installed on board

Passenger's liability for forced landing due to unruly behavior

If, as a result of the unruly behavior of a passenger, the crew makes an emergency landing to disembark this passenger, then this passenger pays all material costs associated with the emergency landing. In the event that the offending passenger refuses to compensate for the damage incurred by the airline in connection with the forced landing, SCAT Airlines reserves the right to apply to the judicial authorities to recover the amount of damage in court.
