This is an unbelievably beautiful place, being an architectural ensemble connecting the presidential compound Ak Orda with Khan Shatyr. The combination of high-rise buildings on the sides of the boulevard with custom-made sculptures and fab fountains in the background at its center looks fantastic.

This trademark of Astana is also known as the Tree of Life that has its roots planted in the ground, and its top reaching the sky. It is 97 meters high, and it is not by chance, it stands for the year 1997, when Astana embarked on its development as Kazakhstan’s new capital city. On top of the tower sits a gold-plated 22 meter ball. There’s a mind-blowing sky deck on top, offering yet another view of the city, but this time somewhat lower, a bird's eye view.
