Any weapons or ammunitions on transfer flights of SCAT Airlines are PROHIBITED..

If a passenger is authorized to carry weapon, it must be handed over to the Carrier for temporary storage during the flight at the departure airport and must be given back to a passenger after arrival.

Collection of weapons for transportation, processing of the required paperwork, getting these on board of the aircraft at the airport of departure, and issuance of such weapons at the airport of arrival is the responsibility of the Aviation Security Service (ASS) personnel.

Weapons must be transported packaged, in a lockable or sealable metal box that is located in a separate baggage or cargo space of the aircraft.

The passenger may take a weapon from an Aviation Security Service employee at the airport of arrival showing a third copy of the certificate, ID, authorization to possess and carry weapons, and an authorization to import the weapon to/export it from the Republic of Kazakhstan (in some cases).

The Aviation Security Service personnel must turn in any unclaimed traveler weapons to respective internal affairs authorities.
