Structural Repair Engineer

Required work experience: 3-6 years
Full time job, full day

Responsibilities:

- Accounting and processing of modifications performed on the aircraft, service bulletins, structural damage to the aircraft.
- Preparation of documentation for structural repairs, technology roadmaps of technical maintenance of structural damages to the aircraft.
- Ordering consumables, tools, ground equipment to perform maintenance of aircraft in terms of structural repairs.
- Сommunicating with suppliers of equipment, consumables, tools used in structural repairs.
- Direct participation in the performance of highly complex structural repairs/maintenance of aircraft.
- Participation in evaluation of airworthiness directives.
- Participation in the development of aircraft maintenance programs
- Development and keeping the Damage Map up to date.
- Participation in certification and inspections by state authorities

Requirements:

- Higher engineering and technical Aviation education with specialization in aircraft operation (B1 or B2), aircraft construction, engine building. Engineering qualification.
- Hands-on experience of five years or more in aircraft maintenance and/or aircraft airworthiness maintenance.
- Practical experience in preparing technical documentation for aircraft maintenance work, structural repairs.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations of PK, EASA, FAA aviation administrations.
- Ability to work with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, documentation from aircraft manufacturers.
- Confident knowledge of general principles of aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of English (confident understanding of technical documentation, business correspondence, communication with aviation representatives).
- PC knowledge - a confident user
- Knowledge of the process of structural damage repair of the aircraft design.
- Knowledge of working with the AMOS information system will provide you with an advantage.
- Experience as an engineer for the ATA-25\38 equipment is welcome.

Conditions:

- Workplace is in Shymkent, the office is located on the territory of Airport of the Republic of Kazakhstan (remote work is not considered). 5-days working week, working day from 09:00 to 18:00. The probation period is 3 months (can be shortened due to readiness to work on their own).
- There might be business trips within Kazakhstan or abroad related to presenting the Company to the  complex defects technical maintenance organizations, maintenance of complex repairs, working with auditors of aviation administrations, training, receiving\transferring aircrafts as well as other cases and needs of the Company.
- Subordination to the head of the Engineering Department.
